The Purpose Of The Seijitsu Shin Do Kan Kyokai
Our purpose is fairly simple and direct but deep and meaningful at the same time. We have founded a an association to allow us to better serve the community as a whole. Our first goal is to help those who do not have the financial means to train in martial arts but they have the desire to learn and can benefit from the training. This means anyone of good moral character and a strong work ethic may be able to take advantage of our help. It is our hope that one day we will be able to turn this venture into a 501(C)(3) non profit organization.
Our second purpose is to be able to preserve and pass on traditional Okinawan Karate Do and Kobudo as our president promised to Seifuku Nitta, Hanshi / 10th Dan three weeks before he passed away in 2012. Nitta Sensei was concerned about karate being taught correctly with the true benefits being realized by its students. Keeping true to the Okinawan standards and preserving this cultural treasure for future generations.
Our third purpose is to be able to purchase a building to house the headquarters dojo to many years to come and hopefully beyond our years for our black belts to carry on. Our goal is to educate as many as possible on the beauty and effectiveness of Traditional Okinawan Karate & Kobudo.
