Stephanie began her formal martial arts training in July of 2002. She chose to begin training to pass the time while her husband Brandon was training and teaching. Karate quickly became a love of hers and Stephanie's dedication to her training intensified. She trained a minimum of nine hours per week since she began and sometimes more while going Kent State University working on her Masters of Education degree and teaching full time as a 7th grade math teacher at Euclid Central Middle School in Euclid, Ohio. Through frustration and pain and a medical problem that arrose during her training she refused to give up her training. Her dedication is easily recognizeable if you spend a little time with her. She has been recognized by the International Black Belt Hall Of Fame for her dedication to the martial arts and has placed in the top 3 places in kata and self defense divisions in regional tournament competition. We are truly proud to have her has one of the Seijitsu Shin Do Kan black belts.
